Spring Is Waking Up at Sidewalk Blooms
🌷 The 2026 Flower Season is Almost Here
Hi friends,
There’s something so special about this time of year on the farm. Trays of tiny seedlings are filling the shelves, muddy boots are always by the door, and little signs of life are starting to pop up everywhere you look.
And the best part? We are officially just one week away from the start of the 2026 flower season 🤍
🌱 A Little About Sidewalk Blooms
Sidewalk Blooms was established in 2023 and is proudly grown right here on our family property, where I’m the third generation to call this land home.
Every flower you see this season is started by seed, corm, or tuber—by me. From tiny lisianthus seedlings to armfuls of dahlias, everything is grown with care from the ground up.
This is truly a one-woman operation, with a little help here and there from my husband and brother when things get busy.
🌼 What’s Growing This Season
We grow a wide variety of seasonal flowers, which means there is always something new and beautiful blooming throughout the season.
You’ll see flowers like:
Tulips, ranunculus, snapdragons, peonies, zinnias, sunflowers, celosia, and so many more as the months go on.
Everything is harvested fresh and reflects what’s at its peak—no two weeks ever look exactly the same, and that’s part of the magic 🌸
🌷 Tulips Are Here (And They’re Beautiful)
We’ve been busy harvesting tulips, prepping beds, and getting seedlings planted—and things are really starting to come to life.
I’ll be sharing preview photos of this season’s tulips now through Sunday, thanks to my wonderful friend at Love, Willow Photography 📸
They turned out absolutely beautiful, and I can’t wait for you to see them.
🌿 Visit the Farm Stand
We officially open the farm stand full-time starting May 1st, and I would love for you to stop by 🤍
Farm Stand Hours:
🌿 Monday–Friday: 12pm–8pm
🌿 Saturday: 3pm–8pm
🌿 Sunday: 9am–8pm
It’s the perfect little stop to grab fresh flowers for your home, a gift, or just because. Some days I’ll be out there, some days it will be self-serve—but there will always be something beautiful waiting for you 🌸
🌿 Bringing Your Flowers Home
When you take a bouquet home, a little care goes a long way:
Change the water every other day
(If you wouldn’t drink it, neither will they 💧)Trim the stems with each water change
Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from heat
Remove leaves below the water line
Keep flowers away from fresh fruits and vegetables
(They release natural gases that can shorten bloom life)
🤍 Follow Along This Season
If you’d like to see what’s blooming each week, behind-the-scenes moments, and updates from the farm, be sure to follow along on Facebook.
I’ll be sharing what’s available, what’s coming next, and all the little moments in between 🌿
🌸 Looking Ahead
Right now, everything is in motion—flowers are being harvested, beds are being prepared, and the season is just beginning to unfold.
I’m so excited for what’s ahead and so grateful to be able to share it with this community.
Whether you stop by the farm stand or follow along online—thank you for supporting local and being part of this journey.
See you soon,
Laci 🌿🌸
